(WWJ) A deadly weekend unfolded in Detroit, with eight shootings from Saturday night to Sunday morning that left three people dead.
In one of the stranger incidents, a naked man opened fire at another man on Southfield Road near Schoolcraft Sunday morning.
Police said the dangerous situation began with an argument between the suspect and victim over their fashion choices.
Police believe a 6-foot-tall naked man ran onto the street and shot the fully-dressed man in the ankle. The suspect sauntered off with an unidentified woman.
Police believe he used a revolver in the shooting, that happened in the 14000 block of Southfield Road.
The victim is recovering at a local hospital and the suspect is still at large.
Police are looking for a 6-foot, heavy set, light-skinned black man with medium length hair. "Possibly wearing no clothes, armed with a handgun, possibly a revolver," the media report says.
Anyone with information on this incident -- or any of the shootings -- should contact Detroit police at (313) 596-2200.
