SOUTH LYON, Mich. (WWJ) -- A cash reward is being offered for tips that help lead to the arrests of multiple suspects wanted for stealing two vehicles and a number of items from unlocked cars in South Lyon earlier this month.

Authorities say three suspects went on a crime spree on Monday, Feb. 3, and police are still trying to track them down.

The suspects made entry into at least a dozen unlocked vehicles throughout the city and stole various items including credit cards, wallets and chargers, according to authorities. The suspects also stole a 2019 Ford Escape, which has since been recovered, as well as a 2010 Lincoln MKZ bearing license plate OMJN81 that has still not been found.

The suspects attempted to use the stolen credit cards at several locations in in nearby cities, including a Meijer in Wixom, a McDonald's and a Wal-Mart in Canton, as well as a Speedway gas station in Farmington Hills. Most of the cards were declined, police said.

They were spotted by surveillance cameras at the Meijer and Crime Stoppers released those images in hopes someone recognizes them. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for any tips that lead to the arrests of the suspects.

Crime Stoppers says all tipsters will remain anonymous and will be paid when an arrest is made -- they do not wait for a conviction.
