(WWJ) Detroit police are asking for help from the public as they search for a missing 12-year-old girl.
Alia Blackmon was last seen Monday, just before 6 p.m.
She left her home in the 13000 block of Hampshire, in the area of I-94 and Dickerson Ave. on the city's est side, and hasn't been seen or heard from since, police said.
Alia is described as a black female, 5'4'' tall and weighing around 120 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair.
She was last seen wearing a pink hoodie, black pants and white Jordan gym shoes, and might be carrying a blue jean purse.
Police said the missing child is believed to be in good physical and mental condition.
