DETROIT (WWJ) - The FBI is looking for potential victims of a Detroit man accused of befriending underage boys on social media, using drugs to molest a child and producing child pornography.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says 49-year old Wade Preston Streeter, who founded the Open Lake Group, has been indicted on charges of producing and attempting to produce child pornography, receiving child pornography and possessing child pornography.
Court records say Streeter is alleged to have sexually assaulted a minor child, covertly produced sexually graphic photographs of young boys as well as engaged in sexually explicit conversations with minor victims.
Investigators say Streeter would meet his victims on Facebook and other social media sites, and then arrange to meet them in person. On at least one occasion, it's alleged that he piled his victim with narcotics.
The alleged conduct took place both at his home in Detroit and on his tugboat, according to the indictment.
