(WWJ) Police are searching for a pair of suspects after shots were fired from a car into a home on Detroit's east side.

Investigators are hoping someone in the public will call in a tip to help them solve the crime, at around 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, in the 2400 block of Townsend, near E. Vernor Hwy.


According to police, the suspects pulled up in a dark colored sedan — possibly a Ford Fusion — and fired shots into an occupied house.

The suspects fled the scene only to return a few later. Police said the suspects then fired shots into the house again, before speeding away. 

Fortunately, two people inside the home at the time of the shooting, a 23-year-old man and 31-year-old woman, were not injured. 

The suspects are described as a Black male, last seen wearing a white t-shirt, and a Black female, last seen wearing red a t-shirt. They're wanted on charges of aggravated assault.

The incident can be seen and heard on a footage from a Ring Doorbell camera, released by police on Monday,
