How Much Snow Did We Get In Metro Detroit? See Totals Here

DETROIT (WWJ) - Metro Detroit is closing out the decade covered in snow.

Snow moved across the region early Tuesday morning and continued falling into the afternoon. 

The latest snowfall totals from the National Weather Service show the largest accumulation -- 3.6 inches of snow -- was measured in White Lake in northwest Oakland County.  

Several cities are close behind; 3 inches was reported in Davisburg, 2.7 inches was measured in Wolverine Lake and Shelby Township, 1.6 inches was recorded in Lake Orion, 1.4 inches fell in Berkley, 1.3 inches was recorded in Garden City and 1.1 inches fell in Waterford and Farmington.

The official measurement for Detroit, taken at Metro Airport in Romulus, is 1 inch. 

Those totals could continue to grow before snow tapers off Tuesday afternoon. 

Road conditions range from snow-covered and slippery to just wet. Drivers are urged to use caution for the variable driving conditions by allowing extra time.
