WWJ) Police shut down a stretch of I-94 in Macomb County for about three hours, early Friday evening, to investigate a shooting on the freeway.
Michigan State Police say they received word of a possible shooting from a witness who called 911, around 5 p.m. on eastbound I-94 between Harper and Little Mack in Harrison Township.
Investigators tell WWJ the 911 caller (with no relation to the shooting) told police a person inside a blue car stuck a gun outside the window and shot at a black car in a suspected road range incident.
The black car left the freeway. Local hospitals and agencies had no victims of a shooting in that area, according to State Police. There were also no more 911 calls on the incident.
A K-9 search of I-94 between Harper and Little Mack revealed no evidence.

None of them so far have been connected, and a majority were in Wayne County.
