(WWJ) Police want to talk to any witnesses to the fatal shooting of a tattoo artist in Macomb County.
According to Clinton Township, the 42-year-old victim, identified as Jari Jua Jaafar, was found dead from a gunshot wound inside his Clinton Township apartment on Saturday, May 16.
Police say Jaafar ran a tattoo business out of his apartment, on Hickory Lane, south of Joy Blvd. and east of Gratiot Ave.
There have been no arrests in the killing, and no suspects have been named or described.
As the investigation continues, police want to speak to anyone who was there, or who has any information about the killing.
Police said there are several potential witnesses who were at the apartment at the time of the shooting, but fled, according to investigators.
