(WWJ) Two men were killed in a head-on collision in Livingston County.
Michigan State Police say a pickup truck crossed over the centerline on Fausset Road, north of Brighton, and collided with another pickup around 8:30 pm Friday. The drivers of both vehicles died on impact.
The victims were identified as Rodney Rukkila, 33, of Fenton and Michel Heidtman, 38, of Howell.
State Police tell WWJ Heidtman was wearing his seatbelt, but Rukkila was not.
A passenger of one of the trucks is hospitalized in unknown condition.
Hartland Fire Department and Livingston County EMS assisted in the response. No word if drugs or alcohol were a factor.
