MILFORD (WWJ) - Police in Milford are searching for a couple of suspects who robbed a Taco Bell on Christmas Eve.

The incident happened around 7:20 a.m. Tuesday at the Taco Bell on General Motors Road just east of Milford Road.

Two employees were inside the restaurant when two suspects wearing ski masks entered and implied they had guns. The suspects came behind the counter and demanded cash.

After removing about $200 from the register, the suspects left the restaurant through the front door. A witness then observed the suspects running along General Motors Road before they got into a dark-colored, older model SUV with loud exhaust, and fled the scene heading west.

The first suspect is described as a heavier black male approximately 50-years-old, wearing a light blue winter coat with a hood pulled over his head, light color pants and dark tennis shoes.

The second suspect is described as a younger black male in his early 20's, wearing a dark-colored winter jacket with a green hoodie pulled up over his head, blue jeans and while tennis shoes. He was also carrying a bright blue backpack over his shoulders.

Both suspects wore ski masks with the upper portion of their faces exposed. No weapons were brandished or seen.

No customers were inside the restaurant at the time, and no injuries were reported.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has any other information is asked to contact police at 248-684-1815.
