KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WWJ/AP) - Police have identified a mother and her twin daughters who died after the woman drove her car into the Kalamazoo River.
The bodies of 44-year-old Ineza McClinton and 9-year-old twin sisters Angel and Faith McClinton and the vehcile where recovered Monday and Tuesday.

— Mike Krafcik (@Mkrafcik) June 18, 2019Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Chief Karianne Thomas said two other young girls, who were let out of the car before it went into the river Monday at Verburg Park, told officers what had happened.
Another daughter, Tishyron McClinton, told TV station WWMT that her mother "didn't seem like herself" lately and had talked about being "tired, sad and lonely."
On Tuesday, Thomas called the deaths' a tragedy affecting the entire community. She added, in an interview with WWJ's Beth Fisher, "...We just don't have any information what might have caused this woman to take such drastic measures, and what that pain was that would have her do that."
Kalamazoo Public Safety Capt. Brad Misner declined to comment Wednesday on the why, saying only: "We're still in the middle of the investigation."
