Police: Missing Man Is A Danger To Self, Public

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are searching for a 49-year-old man who went missing after being discharged from Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

Police say Lemar Thompkins was last seen around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 15 along West Grand Boulevard near the Lodge Freeway. 


Thompkins is said to be in good physical condition but suffers from schizophrenia, is off of his medication, and could be a danger to himself and others.

Thompkins is described as a black male with a light complexion, about 5'8" tall and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a fishing hat, a beige AT&T coat, white and burgundy hoodie, white shoes and a bandana tied in a bow around his head.
