(WWJ) Three separate shootings -- including one where a delivery driver was the victim -- left one person dead and three injured this weekend in Detroit.

The fatal shooting unfolded at about 8:20 p.m. Saturday in the 5200 block of Lakeview. Police said two men were inside a silver 2005 Ford Taurus when an unknown suspect approached the car and fired shots, striking both victims.

A 27 year old man inside the car was killed. The second man was transported to a local hospital by medics and was listed in temporary serious condition.

At about midnight Sunday in the 19100 block of Runyon, a 39-year-old woman was delivering food when she said she heard shots and felt pain. The victim received a grazed wound to the body. She was treated at a local hospital and was listed in temporary serious condition. No further information is available at this time, police said, about why someone would open fire and strike a food delivery driver. It's unknown if she was the intended target or what could have been the motive.

About an hour-and-a-half later, 1:30 a.m. Sunday, in the 8600 block of Southfield, a 27 year old man was approached by someone who attempted to rob him, police said.

The suspect produced a weapon and fired shots, striking the victim in the body. The victim, a CPL holder, also returned fire, but it is not known if the suspect was struck. The suspect fled the scene possibly in a white or silver vehicle. The victim was privately conveyed to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition.

Anyone with information on any of these shootings is asked to call the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-5940, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up.
