(WWJ) A suspect is in custody following a deadly hit-and-run crash in Allen Park that killed a 107-year-old woman.
Police say the driver of a Buick LaSabre struck the car that the 107-year-old woman was riding in.
He ran away from the scene of the hit-and-run crash at Goodard and Reeck around 2:30 p.m. Friday, resulting in a heavy police presence for much of the afternoon; police said.
The 107-year-old passenger died from her injuries.
The driver of the car survived. Their condition is unknown.
FOX 2 reports both cars had a yellow/amber signal at the intersection. The suspect paused after getting out of the car, allowing witnesses to snap the photo of him below before he ran away; according to FOX 2.

Police are working with the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office on charges, which will be announced at a later time.
