DETROIT (WWJ) Detroit Police are calling on tips from the public to bring home a missing teen safely.
Police say Nevea Spears, 14, was last seen at her home on Grandville (6,000 block) in the area of Evergreen and Ford Rd. around 5 p.m. Wednesday. Her mother said Nevea got upset, left home and never came back.
Her mother told police Nevea has left home before, but always came back within an hour.
She was last seen wearing a black and white shirt, black and white shorts, and brown shoes.
