SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) -- Two people are recovering, after being shot at a gas station in Southfield Tuesday evening.
Southfield Police said officers responded to a "shots fired" call at the BP gas station on Southfield Rd. near 10 Mile Rd. at around 6 p.m. on Oct. 28.
Officers found two men who'd been shot, but determined that neither of them was involved in the shooting.
Investigators said the suspects — described only as two men who know each other— got into a shootout inside the gas station, before leaving the scene.
No further details have been released about the suspects, but detectives are actively investigating, police said.
The two wounded men were taken to a local hospital where they were treated for gunshot wounds and listed in stable condition.
