PONTIAC, Mich. (WWJ) -- Two men are recovering from injuries after being shot in a parking lot outside of a Pontiac bar early Monday morning.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to Altadona's Restaurant at 1035 N. Perry shortly before 3 a.m.
The caller said there were more than 20 people in the parking lot when he heard multiple gunshots and saw people running and vehicles racing out of the parking lot.
Deputies arrived to Altadona's and secured the scene and canvassed the neighborhood, but never found the shooter.
Deputies found two bullet holes in the glass entry door and discovered multiple spent shell casings.
Two men -- a 29-year-old from Waterford Township and a 34-year-old from Pontiac -- were injured during the shooting, and both were hospitalized in stable condition at St. Joseph's Hospital. The Waterford man had been shot in the leg and foot, while the other victim was grazed by a bullet on his chest and arm area.
Police have not said what may have led to the shooting and did not have a description for any possible suspects.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact police.
