(WWJ) Michigan State Police are asking for tips from the public as they investigate the shooting of a young woman in Inkster.
Police said it happened late on the night of Friday, Sept. 24, on Lovett Ave., in the area of Henry Ruff Rd. and Annapolis Ave., south of Michigan Ave.
MSP troopers arrived on the scene at around 10 p.m. to find a 22-year-old woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
There is no information about a possible motive, and there is no update about the woman's condition at this time.
As the investigation continues, no suspects have been named or described.
