DETROIT (WWJ) – Three women are reportedly in critical condition after being hit by a car while crossing the street in Detroit Saturday evening.
It happened around 5:45 p.m. in the area of Schoolcraft and the Southfield Freeway on the city's west side, according to multiple reports.
Three women, all adults, were crossing the street when they were hit by a driver who fled the scene.
Authorities have not released many other details about the incident, including what type of car was involved in the crash.
Officials have not released a description of the suspect.
While reports published Saturday night said the women were in critical condition, the extent of their injuries was not disclosed and their conditions were not updated Sunday morning.
