WHITE LAKE (WWJ) A crash, involving a minivan and a motorcycle, in northwestern Oakland County leaves one man dead and another in custody.
White Lake Township Police said the crash occurred on June 29 shortly before 5 p.m., on White Lake near Teggerdine.
According to police, a Dodge Caravan driving west on White Lake, crashed head on into a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling eastbound.
Authorities pronounced the driver of the motorcycle, a 70-year-old Holly man, dead at the scene.
First responders rushed the Dodge driver, a 54-year-old Highland man, to the hospital. After doctors cleared him medically, police arrested him.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene to assist. White Lake Township Police said the case will be forwarded to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office for official charges.
