Detroit (WWJ) -- An 8-year-old boy who was kidnapped in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has been found safe in Detroit over the weekend.
The Michigan State Police said Delon Napper was reunited with his mother after detectives found him in a home on the city's west side Saturday morning. Napper was checked by EMS and is in good health.
Troy Graham-Napper, the boy's father -- who doesn't have custody of the boy -- was arrested by MSP on a warrant for interfering with custody and endangering the welfare of a child.
Two other people involved were arrested for obstructing police and resisting arrest.
The Second District Special Investigation Section (SIS) through MSP was contacted by the Pittsburgh Police Department to assist in the search following suspicions the boy would be in the Detroit-area with his father's girlfriend and possibly his father. Further investigation led SIS detectives to the boy.
SIS is currently completing interviews and has lodged Graham-Napper on behalf of the Pittsburg PD, pending extradition.
The other two suspects are also being lodged while pending review of the investigator's report by the Wayne County Prosecutor.
