WARREN (WWJ) -- An 8-year-old girl who was injured in a Warren apartment fire last week has died.
Family members have told the Macomb Daily that Laurii'ell Brown died at Children's Hospital in Detroit.
Last Wednesday at 6 a.m., Brown suffered burns and smoke inhalation while trapped inside an apartment at Warren Manor on Dequindre Road.
Warren Mayor Jim Fouts said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
