CANTON, Mich. (WWJ) -- The "all clear" has been given after a bomb threat at Plymouth High School Thursday afternoon.
Canton police say they were notified of the threat and immediately assessed the situation and began an investigation at the school.
Authorities say "the limited number" of staff and students that were in the building at the time were evacuated.
Officials conducted a full investigation and have since given the "all clear" at the building and the rest of the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park campus.
Police say there is no threat to the safety of the students or staff.
All afternoon and evening athletics and other activities at P-CEP are on as scheduled at all campus locations.
"The safety and well-being of all students remains the number one priority of both the school district and the Canton Police Department," police said in a press release.
Authorities have not released any further information about the nature of the threat or whether there are any suspects.
