CHELSEA (WWJ) -- Police are investigating the reported donation of a human skull to a Chelsea Goodwill.

On the early afternoon of Jan. 26, A Chelsea police officer on routine patrol was called to the 1100 block of S. Main Street for a suspicious item that was given to a donation drop off location.

The officer met with the complainant, who told them they “recently discovered what appeared to be a human skull, wrapped in a shirt,” according to a press release from the Chelsea Police Department.
