(WWJ) A Pontiac man has been arrested and charged for exposing himself to a teenage girl in Bloomfield Township.
Police said the incident happened at Bloomfield Plaza, at Maple and Telegraph, Rd. shortly before noon on Feb. 17.
According to investigators, 35-year-old Kruze Jelks exposed himself to a 14-year-old girl as he sat in a Ford F-150 pickup truck in the parking lot of the plaza.
The victim saw the suspect as he was seated in the truck with his genitals exposed, police said. She called her sister to tell her what happened, and as the sister walked toward the pickup, the suspect drove off while still masturbating.
Using the video and a partial license plate provided by the victim, officers were able to develop a suspect vehicle
Bloomfield Township Police then arrested Jelks on Tuesday.
He was arraigned in 48th District Court Wednesday on a charge of Aggravated Indecent Exposure, a two-year misdemeanor, and was given a $75,000 bond, no 10%.
Police noted that Jelks is a convicted sex offender, and that he is on a tether while on parole for a previous criminal sexual conduct case.
