HOLLY (WWJ) -- A portion of Holly, in northern Oakland County, is under a Boil Water Advisory.
The advisory was put out to residents at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The alert said crews are in the process of repairing a water main break and had to lower water pressure in order to do so, triggering the Boil Water Advisory.
The advisory affects all houses and business east of North Saginaw and east of North Holly Road from Elm Street to the Northern Village limits.
Residents in the affected area are encouraged to boil their water for at least one minute, and then let it cool before drinking it or using it to brush their teeth or do dishes.
