HAZEL PARK (WWJ) -- Murder charges have been filed against the brother of a Hazel Park woman who was stabbed to death on Labor Day, along with her child.

According to Hazel Park Police, the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office has authorized two counts of first-degree premeditated murder against 43-year-old Ladamien Hill of Redford.

Linda Hill and her 12-year old son, Kardi Jackson, were found dead on Monday in their home on Berdeno Ave., near 9 Mile Rd. The Oakland County Medical Examiner ruled that both victim's throats had been cut, and that they died by homicide.

Ladamien Hill was arrested in Pontiac the day after the bodies were found. Police said detectives making the arrest found evidence connected to the murders, but they did not say what that evidence was.
