STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) -- Several businesses in Sterling Heights are closed after an SUV crashed into a building.
This happened Friday morning, along westbound Metro Parkway (16 Mile Road) at Ryan Road.
This is a professional office building, which houses a physical therapist office and AAA insurance.
"There's debris scattered across the sidewalk and the front lawn of this building," WWJ Newsradio 950's Luke Sloan reported from the scene.
There is a big hole in the building and a lot of visible damage.
The gold SUV involved in the crash has since been towed away, while police remained on the scene later in the morning.
Police did not release any information about the driver, but said there were no serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
