TAYLOR (WWJ) -- A Detroit woman has been charged in connection to a non-fatal stabbing at Southland Mall.
Taylor Police officers were called to the mall for a reported stabbing.
A verbal argument reportedly broke out in a shoe store between a 19-year-old Taylor woman and 32-year-old Tiffany Rose Williams. The argument eventually became physical, and authorities allege that Williams pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Officers found Williams leaving the mall and walking toward the parking lot. She was arrested at the scene.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said Williams was charged with assault with intent to murder, felonious assault and assault with intent to do great bodily harm.
She received a $250,000 bond during her arraignment on Nov 7. Her probable cause conference is scheduled for Nov. 17, with her preliminary exam scheduled for Nov. 24.
