(WWJ) Two alleged victims — both of them teenagers — are seeking assault charges after police broke up a brawl at a skating rink in Troy.

At around 9:30 p.m. last Saturday, police responded to Skate Word of Troy, on E. Maple Rd. near Dequindre Rd., on a report about a fight in progress.

Officers arrived to find several people "actively involved in a physical altercation," police said,

After the parties were separated, it was determined that the fight involved a 47-year-old man and an 18-year-old man from Pontiac, a 30-year-old woman from Pontiac, a 16-year-old boy from Clarkston, and a 14-year-old girl from Warren.

The 14 and 16 year-old alleged victims are both interested in filing criminal charges for Assault and Battery against the combatants who struck them, police said. Police did not say how seriously the teens may have been hurt.

Further details, including the names of those involved and what the fight was about, have not been released.
