ANN ARBOR TWP. (WWJ) A crash has claimed two people's lives on US-23 in Washtenaw County.
Michigan State Police say troopers rushed to the scene near Plymouth Rd. around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports of a crash in Ann Arbor Township.
Preliminary investigation revealed the SUV was traveling southbound, crossed the median and struck a semi truck going in the opposite direction.
Two people in the SUV died. Traffic is being redirected at Geddes Rd.
No information has been released about the victims. Police have not said whether anyone in the semi truck was injured.
