Detroit Harvest Fest continues Sunday after drawing 25,000 on Saturday

DETROIT (WWJ) -- The second and final day of the Detroit Harvest Fest and Food Truck Rally is underway on the city's east side.

Thousands more visitors are expected at the event Sunday after more than 25,000 people attended on Saturday.

The festival, along the Dequindre Cut, features more than 60 food trucks, musical stages, artists and plenty of activities for the kids.

Admission is free for all kids ages 17 and younger, while it's $5 for all adults.

Festival producer Jon Witz, speaking live on WWJ Sunday morning, says there's plenty of chances to get in the Halloween spirit.

"There's trick-or-treat stations, everything is free for kids, from arts and crafts, to a kids' stage, pumpkin decorating, there's a pumpkin patch."

A full list of food trucks and other events at the festival can be found on the Detroit Harvest Fest website.

The festival, which Witz says is "the coolest event I've ever put together," will run until 8 p.m. Sunday.
