DETROIT (WWJ) – A day after his bond was revoked in a robbery and attempted murder case, Torrion Hudson of Detroit has been charged in the alleged assault of his child's mother.

Hudson, 22, was set to be arraigned Thursday in 36th District Court on charges of domestic violence, assault and battery, assault with intent to do great bodily harm and unlawful possession or use of harmful devices causing injury.

The latest charges against Hudson stem from an alleged attack on his kid's 22-year-old mother and her 42-year-old mother last Saturday, while out on bond in the original case.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office says an argument broke out between Hudson and the 22-year-old victim around 6 p.m. at an apartment complex on Whittier on the city's east side.

Prosecutors allege the argument escalated to violence and Hudson punched the woman, knocking her to the ground. When her mom tried to intervene, Hudson allegedly punched her several times in the face and body.

He then allegedly began punching the young woman again before pouring multiple cleaning products on her face and body.

Medics were called to the location and took the 22-year-old victim to a local hospital for treatment. Officials didn't provide an update on her condition Thursday, but Detroit Police Chief James White said at a press conference Tuesday she was in serious condition after the alleged attack.

Speaking a day after Hudson's recent arrest, White said Tuesday, given the nature of his initial crime, he should have never been out on bond.

Hudson is accused of choking and shooting a 19-year-old woman at a Sunoco gas station in Detroit on Dec. 21 while trying to rob her of a necklace. Hudson then allegedly led police on a long chase that ended in Monroe County.

The victim was left in critical condition. Her mother says she had to have multiple surgeries after the bullet hit her lungs.

Hudson was released in mid-January after posting bond, which had been lowered significantly from the initial $1 million bond. He was also ordered to wear a GPS tether at the time.
