LANSING (WWJ) – The search is on for a suspect who shot two people in Lansing Saturday night, including a 27-year-old Detroit man.
Lansing police were called to a home on Northrup Street around 9 p.m. Saturday after the man was shot in the leg a 24-year-old Lansing woman was shot in the abdomen, according to a report from WLNS in Lansing.
Officials have not released a possible motive in the shooting or said what led to the gunfire.
Authorities say the woman underwent surgery, while the Detroit man was said to have non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report.
Police have not yet identified a suspect but witnesses told police the suspect may have fled the scene in a white sedan with tinted windows and bright headlights.
While the suspect remains at-large, officials said there is no threat to the public.
