(WWJ) A Detroit police car was involved in a crash, causing it to hit a church.
Police say patrol officers from the 7th precinct were traveling south on Garland near E. Warren, Friday around 8:00 p.m., when they collided with a Pontiac G6 heading east.
The impact caused the scout car to strike a church, according to police.
The officers and the man driving the Pontiac, 29, were injured; but all are expected to be okay.
The driver is listed in temporary serious condition. The officers were listed in stable condition. One officer has already been discharged from the hospital.
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
