DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police are asking for help tracking down the driver in a hit-and-run crash last November that left a man dead.
Around 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022 a 36-year-old man was hit by a suspect driving a red Chevy Impala near Lahser and Verne on the city's west side.
Police officials say the driver of the Impala failed to stop at the scene and sped away. No other details surrounding the crash were released.
Detroit police on Thursday released a photo of the suspect's car.
Officials are asking anyone who recognizes the Impala or knows something about the hit-and-run is asked to call the Detroit Police Department's Fatal Squad Unit at 313-596-2280 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. Anonymous tips can also be submitted at DetroitRewards.tv
