DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police in Detroit are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man who they say stabbed two others in the Greektown area back in March.
Authorities say just before 10:30 p.m. on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, a man stabbed two others in the area of St. Antoine and Monroe in the lively Greektown area during an altercation.
The suspect, who has been identified as 55-year-old Durand Young, fled the scene on foot.
The victims, both 28-year-old men, were taken to a local hospital and were listed in stable condition.
It's not clear what led to the altercation.
Police have released a photo of Young, who they describe as a black male, roughly 6-feet-tall. He appears to have multiple tattoos on his face, one of which says "Detroit" in a cursive font.
Authorities are asking anyone who has seen Young or knows of his whereabouts to call the Detroit Police Department's Third Precinct at 313-596-1340. Calls can also be made anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
