DETROIT (WWJ) — Three people have died after a shooting at a recording studio on Detroit's west side.
The shooting happened around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, according to Detroit police. Officers on routine patrol in the area of McNichols and Greenfield Roads were flagged down by two men saying there had been a shooting in a nearby building.
The responding officers found a man and a woman dead inside, along with another man who was suffering from a gunshot wound.
The third victim was rushed to the hospital and died of his injuries on Wednesday, officials told WWJ Newsradio 950. The names and ages of the victims have not been released.
Officials said it appears the scene of the crime was a recording studio, but circumstances leading up to the shooting are not known. Police have not released a description of the suspect(s).
Authorities are looking for any possible witnesses or any residents in the area who may have security camera or doorbell footage that helps the investigation.
