ROMULUS (WWJ) -- A man is dead and a woman is hospitalized after a double shooting Saturday night in Wayne County's Romulus.
First responders found a 51-year-old Detroit man and a 47-year-old Romulus woman had been shot at a townhome off Eureka Road near Middlebelt, just after 11 p.m. on May 9.
The man had been hit by multiple gunshots and died, police said.
The woman was transported to a hospital where officials said she was listed in serious but stable condition.
Police said the man had been visiting his sister and her boyfriend at the home when a dispute broke out between all three, escalating into gunfire.
The boyfriend, a 29-year-old Detroit man, was arrested and weapons were seized. His name was not immediately released ,with charged pending.
The investigation by Romulus Police is ongoing.
