DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are investigating a fatal car accident and shooting on Detroit's West Side.
The accident, which involved three vehicles, took place shortly after 3 p.m. in the area of Dexter Ave. and Chicago Blvd.
The crash turned into a shooting, police say.
Authorities say a woman was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. A man was taken to a local hospital with a possible gunshot wound. His condition is unknown at this time.
The circumstances leading to the accident are also currently unknown but police say it may be a road rage incident.
Detroit Police Homicide is investigating and say there are no arrests at this time.
