DETROIT (WWJ) -- Authorities have confirmed that two people sustained gunshot wounds in a drive-by shooting on Detroit's west side.
According to the Detroit Police Department's Public Information Officer, the incident occurred on Lesure St. near Fenkell -- located two blocks west of Schaefer.
Officials say two bailiffs and two workers were cleaning out a home following an eviction.
As they cleared the house, someone drove by and opened fire on the group.
DPD said that the two workers were struck during the attack. Their condition is not known at this time.
Law enforcement also has an unidentified suspect in custody. It is not clear if this suspect is the shooter or a person of interest.
