Eastpointe (WWJ) — Police in the City of Eastpointe are investigating a triple shooting that occurred Monday night at two different locations.
Police said a call about the shots fired first came just before 9 p.m., and the Eastpointe PD was dispatched to Kelly Road near East Nine Mile and the Ford Freeway. Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple victims with various gunshot wounds, and immediately began to render first aid.
Officers discovered that the incident began blocks away along Dijon Avenue and Beaconsfield, as the victims told them they were parked outside a home there. Another vehicle pulled up alongside them, they told police, and someone inside began shooting.
Police said that three people were wounded in the shooting, but their conditions were unknown Tuesday.
There is no word at this time about on a possible suspect or suspects, or what may have led to the attack.
