(WWJ) Michigan State Police have issued an "Endangered Missing Advisory" for Grosse Pointe Woods man.

According to investigators, 40-year-old Ashok Vikraman was last seen leaving his parents home on Sanctuary Ct., in the area of Crooks Rd. and W. South Blvd., in Rochester Hills.

His family has not heard from him since around 6 p.m. on Monday, police said.

There is concern for Vikraman's well-being as he is known to have been suicidal in the past, according to his family, and advised his employer Monday night via email that he was resigning.

Vikraman is described as an Indian male, 5'5'' tall and around 150 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes, and a brown mole on his nose.

He was last seen wearing a black fleece and blue jeans, and drives a red 2019 Toyota Camry, Michigan license plate: EBU9141.

Anyone who sees this missing man should call 911 or Grosse Pointe Woods Public Safety at 313-343-2410.
