
BLOOMFIELD HILLS (WWJ) - For the last 100 years, Oakland Hills in Bloomfield Township has been of one of the world's most famous golf courses, hosting U.S. Opens, PGA Championships and the 2004 Ryder Cup, global golf's most important event.
On Thursday, the storied clubhouse, which basically doubled as a golf museum, suffered significant damage as a result of a massive fire that quickly spread throughout the building.
