GREENVILLE, Mich. (WWJ) – A west Michigan auto supplier is the target of a federal investigation.

While many details remain unclear, FBI agents raided Dicastal North America in Greenville, north of Grand Rapids, on Monday.

Though a spokeswoman for the FBI confirmed a search warrant was executed on Monday, but wouldn't comment further, pending the ongoing investigation.

Founded in 2014, Dicastal North America manufactures aluminum alloy wheels for multiple car manufacturers, including Ford, Toyota, Nissan, and others.

WZZM 13 in Grand Rapids reported several former Dicastal employees said they believe there were "questionable practices inside the business." Many were not surprised to hear the FBI was there, according to WZZM. One former employee said the company's work environment was "super stressful."

"There were times me and my friends would be crying out on the line, because it was way too much to handle," the former employee said, according to WZZM. "Everything about it was horrible."

Another former employee tells WZZM she is still working to get her last paycheck from before she left the company.

There are reportedly thousands of workers at two separate Dicastal plants.
