OAKLAND TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Firefighters are battling a large fire ripping through an Oakland County home this hour after it went up in flames early Friday morning.
First responders are currently at the scene on the house fire on Freer Street, near Orion and Snell Roads in Oakland Township. WWJ's Ryan Marshall is en route to the scene to learn additional details.
Firefighters from Rochester City, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Orion Township, Addison Township, Washington Township, Shelby Township, Ray Township, Bruce-Romeo, Troy Fire, Dryden Fire and more are among those helping to extinguish the blaze.
At this time, it is unknown if there are any injuries or if someone was home at the time the blaze broke out.
Fire officials will investigate the cause of the fire once the flames have been put out.
