DETROIT (WWJ) -- A 13-year-old girl who went missing late last week in Detroit is back home safe.
According to investigators, to Detroit Police, 13-year-old Apple Jones last seen at around noon on Friday, June 16, in the 14200 block of Maiden on Detroit's east side, wearing all pink clothing.
After she left the house without permission, police said, and was reported missing by her family when she did not return home.
Police release the teen's photo on Monday morning, asking for tips in the case.
Monday afternoon, the police sent an update stating that Jones had been recovered and is doing fine.
No further information was released.
