DETROIT (WWJ) -- A victim is injured and hospitalized, two suspects have been detained and a Detroit freeway is closed for yet another shooting investigation.

Shortly before 11 a.m. Monday morning, Michigan State Police responded to a gunshot victim in the local lanes of eastbound I-96 near Schaefer Highway.

Upon arriving, troopers say they found multiple shell casings and a black Chevy Trailblazer with bullet holes in it.

Officers also arrested two unidentified suspects at the scene.

The victim was struck twice and taken to a local hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.

At this time, the eastbound I-96 local lanes are blocked off at Grand River while MSP detectives conduct their investigation.
