(WWJ) Detroit Police are asking for help locating a suspect in a hit-and-run that left a man fighting for his life.
Police say a man, 65, who is legally blind was crossing the street in the area of 7 Mile and Telegraph when he was struck by a black Chrysler 200 traveling eastbound on W. 7 Mile Road, on Friday around 10 a.m. The vehicle kept going.
Medics rushed the man to the hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
The suspect's vehicle has damage to the front end, consistent with striking a pedestrian. No description of the suspect is available.
