MOUNT CLEMENS (WWJ) -- A 33-year-old Macomb woman was arraigned Wednesday after supposedly pointing a gun at another woman during an argument over their dogs.
Authorities allege that on Tuesday, May 16, Angela Andrews and another woman engaged in an argument concerning their canine companions. The details of the fight were not shared.
As the verbal altercation escalated, Andrews went into her home and returned with a firearm that she pointed at the victim.
Andrews now faces one count of assault with a deadly weapon (a four-year felony) and one count of felony firearm, which carries a mandatory two-year prison sentence. Bond was set at $10,000.
The defendant is expected in court for a probable cause hearing on May 30, and a preliminary exam on June 5.
